Switchable Privacy Glass
PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) film transforms standard glass into switchable privacy surfaces. The technology consists of liquid crystals dispersed within a polymer matrix, laminated between two conductive layers.
When electrical current is applied, the liquid crystals align, allowing light to pass through and rendering the glass transparent. When the current is removed, crystals scatter randomly, creating an opaque, frosted appearance.
Our film can be retrofitted to existing glass installations, eliminating the need for complete glass replacement. The transition between states occurs in milliseconds, providing instant privacy control.
