What is Smart Film?
Smart Film is a specialized switchable film based on PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) technology. Applied directly onto glass surfaces, it allows the glass to transition instantly between transparent and opaque states with the simple flip of a switch.
Unlike traditional blinds, curtains, or mechanical privacy solutions, Smart Film provides a clean, modern alternative that maintains the architectural integrity of glass while delivering privacy on demand. It can be installed on existing glass—no replacement necessary—making it ideal for both new construction and retrofit projects.

The CYTINT Demo Kit allows you to experience each Smart Film finish in person before committing to your project. The kit includes samples of all four available types—Ultra Clear White (88–89%), Super Clear White (91–92%), Low-E Grey, and Low-E Black—along with a battery-operated controller for instant on/off testing, batteries, and alcohol pads for cleaning.
